“Anyone who wants to buy a house these days experiences a lot of stress,” Herman begins. “On Funda, 50 people immediately arrive at a home, which creates pressure and also leaves many people disappointed. We thought that could be a lot more relaxed.” HomeMatching was founded in 2018, with the aim of bringing more transparency and peace to the tight housing market.

HomeMatching facilitates contact between (future) buyers and sellers, with the mission to make the housing market more accessible by making homes and housing needs visible at an early stage. “Traditional brokerage is very transaction-oriented,” Herman explains. “We strive for more transparency and want to give people the opportunity to transact at their own pace and on their own terms. For example, users can already indicate that they want to move in a few years to get an idea of ​​what their home is worth and under what conditions they can sell with a good feeling.”

HomeMatching wanted to offer its users an accurate home value and therefore looked for a reliable, data-driven provider of home valuations. That’s how they ended up at Matrixian, says Herman. “We wanted to give our users a realistic view of market value so they can make more informed decisions. Questions like ‘What is my house worth?’ and ‘What are the recent sales prices of comparable homes in the area?’ are essential in this regard.”

HomeMatching recently released a new release where sellers can choose a sales package that guides them step by step until the notary. This also includes Matrixian’s data-driven home values. “Everyone gets to see a value range of the home,” says Herman enthusiastically. “And with a pro account, users see the exact home value.”

“Adding the home value is important to determine the price for which you want to put your home on the market. And this information is also important when purchasing a new home. This way, users can take even more control in the purchasing and selling process.”
