Through competitive logistics facilities, we can continue to be a logistics hotspot within Europe. The Netherlands is still growing as a transit country. If we start building the right infrastructure now, we will be at the forefront of smart logistics later.
The road system of the Netherlands will soon be not just offline, but also an online network where we can retrieve loads of data. This enables interesting logistical innovations, such as self-driving trucks or traffic that communicates with traffic lights. Due to the growing collection of logistical data, we will soon be able to not only predict problems on the road, but resolve them as well.
That is why Matrixian Group organised a Smart Logistics Hackathon. During this day, we shared our knowledge and got to work with new tools & technologies in order to digitise the existing infrastructure. You can see what that was like in the video below.
